![]() ![]() They will be revamping the relevant loot tables for the changes. Unless they do some hardcore revamp of the crack a book POI's so they actually give something besides paper, then it might be ok. I know they confirmed bandits coming in to the game which is nice but they could also be working on the actual endgame such as survivors, non hostile NPCs you can find and recruit to your base and you can give them jobs as a "automation" kind of mechanic. Optimisation (obviously).Īnd there's also other things they should be ADDING to the game as well. Stuff like the core gameplay, I'm sorry, I LOVE 7 Days to Die but its core gameplay is hot garbage, feels like fallout new vegas except in 2022, its simply way to simple at the moment, why is there no movement abilities such as a dodge move? how about a slide that allows you to go through a 1x1 hole? Mantling ? Stamina consumption is awful. This would fix the RNG issue as you are ACTIVELY trying to level up what you like as opposed to trying to be lucky.īesides that I honestly don't know why they're reworking the skill system to begin with when this game has a lot of issues that need to be fixed IMMEDIATELY whereas the skill system was fine to begin with. I think in order to fix this should just be to bring back LBD, I know The Fun Pimps said they hate this system, they're moving on and its not coming back as people abused this system in previous alphas, so why not alter the skill system? as in crafting the same thing over and over again doesn't upgrade its quality, using them does ( like getting kills with shotguns would level up the tree instead of finding magazines). Having to find magazines to increase your item quality seems like its going to be a boring chore. The problem with this system is it encourages RNG MASSIVELY, and I think it still doesn't really fix the issue with the levelling system that I have, I remember In alpha 18 I wanted to spec into spears as they were new only to find out that I simply wasn't enjoying the skill tree, so I wasted that 2 weeks in game to try to enjoy the tree, while I think they made balancing of the skill trees pretty well for the most part I still prefer the LBD system as that allowed you to explore what you liked and still made progress with it. I don't mind this change, I think it could be interesting but at the same time I think its still a downgrade from previous versions, As much as I miss the Learn by Doing system (from now on I'll call it LBD) I've gotten used to the new perks only progression, I think it was fine, still preferred the LBD system though. Obviously its very early to criticise this system but I still want to put out my opinion on this. ![]()
